While frozen krill definitely 'tastes' good to fish, it doesn't add a whole lot to your fishes diet nutrition wise. As you can see it contains very little protein & fat. In the dry state those numbers will take a drastic leap up the scale. It does contain some fatty acids that can sometimes help trigger a spawn in certain fish, but if one feels the need to supplement with frozen foods I'd recommend PE Mysis, not krill.

Krill – You can feed whole krill as a color enhancer. Either or frozen Krill will do just fine. As mentioned earlier, krill is extremely easy to digest for fish since it is a natural food for many fish species in the wild. Freeze dried packages are whole krill which should be crushed into smaller pieces if your fish are too small to swallow it whole. Frozen package has smaller pieces of krill, which even my 2~3 inches long fish can eat them in one bite.
